Dear Potential New Members,
My name is Avery Thrower, and I’m incredibly honored to serve as the Vice President of Member Education for Auburn Delta Gamma. Since I ran home to DG in August 2023, this role has been a dream of mine, and I’m beyond excited for this opportunity to support the Member Class of 2025!
Starting college is a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, nervousness, and the sense of anticipation that comes with stepping into this new phase of life. Though there will be moments that feel uncertain, trust that with each step, things will fall into place and you’ll find your way. Soon, you will experience firsthand how Auburn is home to truly remarkable people, and I’m confident that each of you will find a supportive, caring community here.
For me, Auburn has given me not only a community but also a home—Delta Gamma has become that place of support and opportunity. The women of the Delta Sigma chapter have been a source of encouragement and strength, far beyond anything I could have imagined. As we look ahead to Recruitment 2025, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement for all of you. This chapter means everything to me, and I can’t wait to get to know each of you more!

Dear Potential New Members,
I’m Ella Wilhaucks, and I’m so excited to be the Director of New Members for Delta Gamma this year! I know that starting college and going through recruitment can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. I remember how nervous I was walking into each sorority, and I feel so lucky to have found my home here at Delta Gamma!
Being part of Delta Gamma means so much to me because this chapter has given me lifelong friendships and amazing experiences. I can’t wait to share the history and values of Delta Gamma with all of you! During the new member period, I’ll be spending time with each of you, getting to know you better, and making sure you feel right at home. I hope you all feel how special our sisterhood is and how much it means to us!
I’m so excited to cheer you on and support you as you begin this incredible journey at Auburn! From Bid Day to Initiation, I’ll be here to help guide you through the new member process and make sure everything goes smoothly. My goal is to make sure each of you feels welcomed, loved, and supported as you adjust to college and Greek life. Introducing our 2025 New Member Crew! These girls devote their time to helping our new member class transition into college and sorority life. Each new member will be assigned to a New Member Group led by a New Member Crew leader, which allows each new member to broaden their connections and receive advice from their Delta Gamma mentor. The girls of New Member Crew are so excited to serve MC’25 and cannot wait to meet you!
