Meet OUR VP OF MEMBERSHIP!

Dear Potential New Members,

Congratulations on beginning this exciting chapter of your college journey! My name is Mae Howell, and I am honored to serve as the Vice President of Membership for Auburn Delta Gamma. I cannot wait to meet each of you and share my love for Delta Gamma as you explore all our sisterhood offers.

When I first came to Auburn, I had no idea how much my life would change. The moment I joined this chapter, I found a community where I felt valued, loved, and encouraged to be my truest self. It’s a place where everyone has the space to grow, learn, and become the best version of themselves, and I am so excited to offer that same opportunity to you.

One of the things I cherish most about Delta Gamma is how it has pushed me to live out our motto, "Do Good," every single day. Whether through our service initiatives, our leadership opportunities, or simply the way we show up for one another, Delta Gamma has encouraged me to become a more compassionate and confident person. I am truly a better version of myself because of the women I’ve met here.

I know that recruitment and the transition to college can feel like an uncertain and sometimes overwhelming time, but I want to reassure you that you are not alone. We’ve all been in your shoes, and we understand the mix of excitement and nerves that you might be feeling. Even though it might feel uncertain right now, I promise you that you will end up exactly where you are meant to be, and I am so grateful to be a part of your experience.

There are so many incredible chapters on Auburn’s campus, and I encourage you to embrace this experience with an open heart and mind. Every chapter offers something different, and no matter which sorority you ultimately join, I have no doubt that you will find your place and make lifelong friendships. I hope that you grow from this experience, as I have, and that you find a sisterhood where you feel supported, encouraged, and truly at home.
